Imagine there was a supplement that was perfectly made to your unique postpartum needs. Your placenta is an amazing and beneficial organ created to nourish baby in the womb for 9 months and mama immediately afterbirth & beyond.

What is encapsulation and why should I consider it?

For thousands of years the placenta has been consumed by many different cultures to replenish nutrients to the postpartum mother. Traditional Chinese medicine has been using placenta medicinally for thousands of years. Placenta encapsulation is the process of dehydrating and process the placenta into a course powder, which is then placed into small capsules for you to consume, similar to a vitamin. This process begins as early as possible, but still can occur after the placenta has been frozen for some time.

Placenta capsules are made from your placenta with no added ingredients.
The placenta is dehydrated using a food dehydrator or oven for 12-18 hours or until crisp. The dried placenta is ground into a powder and put into empty gelatin capsules. Vegetarian options available.

A placenta will make between 75 - 200 capsules depending on the size of the size of the infant, gestation and capsule size. ("00" capsule)

Encapsulation Process

I encapsulate the placenta at my home office. During the process I use a dehydrator, grinder and a capsule machine that is properly washed and sterilized after every encapsulation. This is very crucial to ensure that no cross-contamination will occur and all the nutrients are preserved. No matter your preference, quality is of the utmost importance of everything that I do.
